IIDA Idea competion 2010

IIDA is an idea contest for students, researchers and employees at Tampere University, Tampere University of Technology and Tampere Universities of Applied Sciences. IIDA has been organised since year 1994. Nowadays contest is organised yearly during February and March.
  
Competition has three series from which you should choose one to continue with supplying the idea:
  
1. Product ideas and innovations
2. Service ideas and social innovations
3. Company challenges (You can find the challenges from here)
 
This year it is possible to participate not just by sending a proposal of own idea or innovation but also by sending a proposal for company related challenge. This is a good way to take part in innovation actions even though you yourself do not yet have some concrete or potential idea of own.
 
To particibate competition you should go to www.hermiayrityskehitys.fi/iida and choose Competition form page to continue submitting the idea. All proposals have to sent before 31.03.2010 at 23:59.
 
Total prizes of competition amount to almost 7000 euros. Beside the monetary prizes there are some extra prizes in every company challenge, which are given to the best proposals linked for each challenge. Idea owners will be  helped on commercialisation process in co-operation with business incubators. All proposals sent to IIDA will be kept confidential. It is assumed, that the proposer(s) has an exclusive or sole right to ideas and inventions mentioned on proposals. These rights will also be valid, so that neither the jury nor the organisers will get any IPRs of proposed ideas if not otherwise particularly agreed. In series "Companies challenges" the right to use all information provided in the contest is on the company to utilize within their own business.
 
 
IIDA idea competition would not be possible without the help of local Universities and Tampere Region Economic Development Agency Tredea.
